Stash-it! Paint Can

3” Sea Wool Sponge
Water Container
Paper Plates
Paper Towels
Cardstock- lime green, medium blue/green, yellow and white
Double-stick tape
Scissors or paper cutter
½” soft bristle paint brush

INSTRUCTIONS:

Please take a moment to review the instructions on all product packaging before beginning any project.

1. Pour a medium size puddle of each of the following colors out on a paper plate- Lime Green and Mediterranean.
2. Wet the Sea Wool Sponge and squeeze all the excess water out. Dip the sponge into Lime Green, tap excess off on the paper plate and then pounce the color over the entire can and lid, reloading as needed. Rinse the sponge out and set the can aside to dry.
3. Now dip the sponge into Mediterranean, tap the excess off on the paper plate and pounce the color over the entire can and lid, reloading as needed. Rinse the sponge out and set the can aside to dry.
4. Cut the yellow cardstock into 4” strips, enough to wrap around the entire can. Dip the small end of a Paint N Toss Sponge into Lime Green, working quickly, tap excess off on plate and them pounce color onto the Swirl image and randomly stamp the yellow cardstock. Reload the image before stamping each image. Continue until desired effect is achieved. Set aside to dry.
5. Cut (2) blue/green and (2) lime green 2” x 3” pieces and randomly stamp them with the Paw image using the desired colors from the palette. Set aside to dry.
6. Stamp “Fred” three times on a piece of white cardstock using the Black paint and the same technique as above. Using the markers color the dogs in as desired. Cut the images out and individually back each with a piece of cardstock. Trim leaving a 1/8” border.
7. Using the brush paint the indention on the lid with one of the paint colors from the palette. Let dry.
8. Using the double-stick tape adhere the yellow cardstock around the can. Layer over the remaining pieces as desired on the can and lid. Enjoy!
